Voice Lessons Policy
Taking part in voice lessons is more than a chance to expand your voice, but growing in your self confidence and finding yourself. You will find benefits beyond that of singing. One can develop a better understand of music itself and how it works to pull from your inner thoughts and emotions. Singing can help you making inner connections throughout your body to help you grow and release high levels of anxiety. Many believe that singing is not worth while but there is so much more to connecting to your inner voice than one might think. Your voice is an extension of who you are and I am honored to help you with your journey!
Your first meeting with me will not cost you anything! This is to best prepare you for success in your lessons. Each person is unique when discovering your voice and requires practice and patience. Lessons require work outside of one on one time. Students are asked to log a weekly practice book to help them progress.
Requirements
Sheet music must be provided by you as the student. I will get personal copies for myself but it is up to you to have a copy for yourself to use for lessons and personal practice time. This can be a music folder with paper and pencil or a digital version that allows for making marks in the score.(ex. iPad or tablet) In order for to have the best results, it will be required for you to practice outside of the scheduled lessons. Most of your discoveries will happen when you are working alone on the music. I am always happy to help guide this process, but I want you to get the most out of each lesson!
Payments and Attendance
Methods of payment allowed: Cash, Venmo, and cash app. Upon first meeting, it is essential to discuss our payment plan before moving forward in lessons. Once scheduled lessons have began, students must come to each lesson ready to perform the tasks of the week. If attendance for the weekly lesson is not properly notified 24 hours in advance, student must pay the lesson fee regardless. Staying healthy is key in making the best music, if a student is sick and unable to make a lesson, communicate with me as soon as possible regarding any sickness to discuss a plan for the week.
